Founded by designer and artist Grace Manson, Telha Studio creates hand-tiled mirrors, frames, and collage artworks that celebrate colour, materiality, and traditional craft through a contemporary lens.
Having grown up in Portugal surrounded by traditional azulejos, Grace developed an early appreciation for the richness and character of tilework. Recent visits back to Portugal reignited this inspiration, particularly through contemporary reinterpretations of historic ceramic traditions.
Combining an ongoing art practice with a Level 3 Professional Interior Design Diploma, Grace approaches each piece with both creative intuition and a strong understanding of interior space, materiality, and composition. Every work is individually designed and hand-tiled using carefully sourced materials, resulting in sculptural decorative pieces intended to bring warmth, colour, and visual depth into a space.
At the heart of Telha Studio is the belief that art should be lived with — pieces designed not to blend into the background, but to continually catch the eye and evoke a lasting response. Alongside the collection pieces, Telha Studio also collaborates with interior designers, hospitality spaces, and private clients on bespoke commissions tailored to specific interiors and projects.
